An award winning documentary film producer, political columnist, and
broadcaster, Walters has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, been a
commentator on the Chris Matthews show, and Unsolved Mysteries to
name a few. His film, Apocalypse Africa made in America premiered
at the Cannes International Film Festival. His first love, however,
is writing and his family.
Wereth, the Black Parade is his second full length novel.
Del’s first book, The RACE, is a political thrill ride about
the nation’s first black president. Ironically it was published a
full year before Barack Obama arrived on the political scene. He is
also the author of the non-fiction book, The Pottery Barn Rules,
which chronicles the CIA’s involvement in Africa.
Del Walters currently lives in the suburbs of Washington D.C.
with his wife Robin and their two daughters Taylor, and McClaine.
